Iran visas on arrival are available for nationals of 185 countries (except those listed below) holding a 6 month valid ordinary passports for tourism purposes only. The VOA's may be obtained with or without prior Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) approval, however you might find an extra 2 to 3 hour airport delay (depending on incoming flights) in addition to a 25€ fee added to the visa costs and charges, if you arrive without the MFA approval.
Iran Visa on arrival is not applicable to the nationals of:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, India, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, UK, USA.
What are the Iran Visa Stamp Fees?
The visa stamp fees are payable to the Iranian consulate or at the point of arrival.
Note: The charges for the Iran Visa on Arrival (VOA) are currently 25€ above the stamp fees if arriving without the MFA approval.
